The Muskingum men's indoor track & field team secured a first-place finish at the Capital Meet on Sunday.
The Basics

Notables
- The Muskies secured first place at the meet defeating Wilmington, Marietta, and Capital.
- Muskingum logged a total of 162 points.
On The Track
- Freshman Jaden Swiderek secured first place in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.17 seconds, while Freshman Samuel Paydock placed third with a time of 23.92 seconds, and Freshman Tyrel James took fourth place with a time of 24.32.
- Junior Aaron Johnston secured first place in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.85 seconds, while Paydock was right behind him, taking third with a time of 23.92. James rallied the pack, finishing in fourth with a time of 24.72.
- Freshman Hasson Willams took third place in the 400-meter dash with a time of 59.99, while Freshman Evan Wagner placed fourth with a time of 1.00.30.
- Freshman Wade Speeth secured a first-place finish in the 1000-meter run with a time of 2:40.77.
- Willams finished second in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.15 seconds, while Wagner secured third place with a time of 9.59.
- The 4x200 men's crew of Paydock, Johnston, James, and Swiderek secured a first-place finish with a time of 1:37.08.
- The 4x400 crew of Sophomore Seth Roseberry, Williams, Wagner, and Junior Hudson Moore placed fourth with a time of 3:57.16.
In The Field
- Swiderek and Freshman Tomooris Davis secured second and third place in the High Jump earning a height of 1.69 meters.
- Junior Chase Stillion placed third in the pole vault earning a height of 3.55 meters.
- Swidereck guided the Muskies in the long jump earning first place with a distance of 6.42 meters, while James finished third jumping 6.15 meters, and Davis took fourth place with a distance of 6.14 meters.
- Freshman Jakai Smith guided the Muskies in the triple jump with a distance of 12.07 meters, while Freshman Julian Anderson finished right behind him in second with a distance of 11.82 meters.
- Freshman Logan Wickman placed third in the shot-put, with a distance of 13.05 meters.
- Wickman also placed fourth in the weight throw, with a distance of 11.31 meters.
