The Muskingum men's indoor track & field competed in the OAC Elite Meet on Sunday.

The Basics

• Location: Otterbein - Westerville, OH and Capital - Bexley, OH

Notables

• The Muskies finished eighth out of a ten-team field.
• Muskingum logged in a total of 23 points.
• Mount Union finished in first with 231 points.

On The Track

• Freshman Wade Speeth secured sixth in the 1-mile run with a time of 4:35.44.
• The 4x200-meter crew of freshman Samuel Paydock, junior Aaron Johnston, freshman Tyrel James, and freshman Jaden Swiderek, grabbed third place with a time of 1:37.37.

In The Field

• Swiderek guided the Muskies with a long jump of 6.20 meters to earn fourth, while freshman Tyrel James finished in sixth with a mark of 6.12 meters.
• Freshman Jakai Smith recorded a triple jump mark of 12.17 meters to place sixth, while James finished right behind him in seventh with 12.04 meters.
