Muskingum sophomore goalie Trevor Connolly and sophomore attacker Spencer Zecchini were honored for their outstanding play last week by being named Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week.

Connolly and Zecchini helped lead Muskingum to a 2-0 week of play with wins at Mount St. Joseph (25-3) and Albion (8-3). The two victories propelled Muskingum to 4-1 overall and to its best start in program history.

Connolly notched 22 saves in net and recorded an 81-percent save percentage. He registered a 3.00 goals-against-average in 85 minutes of work between the pipes.

Zecchini scored seven goals and logged six assists to pace the Muskie attack. He peppered 15 shots, with 11 being on goal, and grabbed three ground balls.

Muskingum next plays at Saint Vincent on Wednesday, March 9. The game time is set for 4:00 p.m.
