Men's Lacrosse beats Alma en route to best start in program history

The Muskingum men's lacrosse team beat Alma on Saturday afternoon, 8-5. With the win, the Muskies improved to 4-1 on the season and are off to their best start in program history.

  • Muskingum led 2-0 through the game's opening eight minutes before Alma scored three unanswered goals to take a 3-2 edge after the opening quarter.
  • The Muskies scored the lone strike in the second frame on freshman Alec Terbovich's goal to tie the game at 3-3.
  • Muskingum took the lead for good in the third quarter on a pair of goals by sophomore Spencer Zecchini and Terbovich to take a 5-4 advantage into the final quarter.
  • The Muskies closed out the game outscoring the hosts 3-1 to capture the 8-5 road victory.
