Multiple school records fell on Wednesday evening as the Muskingum men's lacrosse team routed Franciscan, 24-5.

- Muskingum scored a school record 24 goals against the Barons to break the previous mark of 18 goals set versus Franciscan in 2017.
- The Muskies dished out a school record 15 assists. The former record of 11 assists was set against Calvin in 2015.
- The Muskie scoring outburst helped the team set the new record for assists in a season. The Muskies now have 43 assists on the year - eclipsing the old mark of 41 set in 2018.
- Muskingum also set new school records for caused turnovers with 24 and face-offs with 19. The previous record of 21 caused turnovers was set against La Roche in 2018 while the former record of 15 face-offs occurred against Mount Union in 2016.
- Senior Tucker Haas tied the record for assists in a game with five. Tucker now shares the record with Andrew Buchbinder, who tallied five assists versus Calvin in 2015.
- Haas also scored his 100th career point, becoming the first player in program history to do so.
- Sophomore Josh Fletcher led the Muskie charge with five goals, two assists, and three ground balls.
- The senior trio of Tucker Haas, Jacob Stewart, and Ryan Stacey fired in three goals each. Haas also dished out a record-tying five assists.
- Junior Nick Klinefelter and freshman Hazen Powell scored two goals each.
- Seniors Chase Locker and Gabe Kral along with freshmen Zachary Westmeyer, Daulton Snowden, Mason Kesler, and Luke Swartz tallied one goal each.
- Muskingum ended the outing with an overwhelming 55-24 advantage in shots.
- Freshman Brandon Farley played 51:45 minutes in frame for the Muskies. Farley saved six shots and allowed five goals.
- Michael Araps and Steve Smith led the Barons with two goals each.
- Grant McKeown played the entire contest in goal and made 13 saves and allowed 24 goals.
- Muskingum took control early on, scoring nine goals while allowing one in the first quarter.
- The Muskies added seven scores in the second quarter to go up 16-2 at the break.
- In the third quarter, Muskingum stayed hot and increased its lead to 20-3.
- The Barons were able to score two goals in the fourth quarter, but Muskingum continued to manage the game and rode its momentum to a record-breaking victory.
- Muskingum next hosts John Carroll on Saturday, March 23. Game time is slated for 1:00 p.m.
