Henry earns All-OAC Honors, leads Men’s Golf at OAC Championships

Sophomore Cameron Henry finished in 14th place out of the 45-golfer field to earn All-OAC honors at the OAC Championships. Muskingum finished the event with a team score of 1,265 (305, 318, 333, 309) to land in eighth place.

The Basics

  • The event took place at River Greens Golf Course.
  • The Muskies finished in eighth place out of the nine-team field. Muskingum fired a four-day total of 1,265 (305, 318, 333, 309).
  • John Carroll's John Roder and Mount Union's Ian Smith earned co-medalist honors with total scores of 290.
  • John Carroll took home the team crown with a score of 1,186 (297, 298, 295, 296).

On the Course

  • The Muskies were led by sophomore Cameron Henry who tallied a total score of 303 (70, 75, 82, 76) for the event. Henry finished in 14th place to earn All-OAC honors for the first time in his career. Henry finished tied for 11th in par four scoring for the event, and ended the weekend with 41 pars and nine birdies.
  • Also playing strong for Muskingum was junior Jack Williams who fired a score of 320 (76, 84, 82, 78).
  • Sophomore Nicholas Luniewski compiled a score of 323 (79, 79, 87, 78), for Muskingum, while senior Trey Singleton wrapped up his season with a 324 (82, 83, 82, 77).
  • Rounding out the Muskingum scoring was junior Chase Karling who finished with a total of 327 (80, 81, 87, 79).
