The Muskingum men's golf team had four players shoot below 80 to defeat Marietta at Cambridge Country Club on Friday.
The Basics
- Muskingum and Marietta faced off at Cambridge Country Club.
- Muskingum's Cameron Henry and Trey Singleton both shot a 74 to share medalist honors.
- The Muskies shot 303 as a team, while Marietta finished the day with a 318.
On the Course
- Sophomore Cameron Henry and senior Trey Singleton both shot a 74 to lead the Muskies. Both golfers shot 38 on the front nine, and 36 on the back nine.
- Junior Jack Williams turned in a solid round of 76 for Muskingum. Williams carded a 40 on the front, and a 36 on the back.
- Senior Caleb Barnette also broke 80 for the Muskies, carding a 79 for his round. Barnette fired a 40 on the front nine and a 39 on the back.
- Sophomore Nicholas Luniewski rounded out the Muskie scoring with an 81. Luniewski finished with a 41 on the front, and a 40 on the back.
- Junior Chase Karling, sophomore Ethan Miller, and freshman Sam Santille all competed as individuals for Muskingum. Karling and Miller both recorded an 81 on the day, while Santille turned in a round of 82.
- Marietta was led by Carson Fox who shot a 78.
