Henry earns medalist honors to lead Muskies at Muskingum Spring Invite

Sophomore Cameron Henry fired a one-under 71 to earn medalist honors at the Muskingum Spring Invite. The Muskies finished with a team score of 308 to finish tied for third.

The Basics

  • The invitational took place at Zanesville Country Club in Zanesville, Ohio. Muskingum was the host school.
  • As a team, the Muskies shot a combined score of 308 on the day. The Muskies finished tied for third place out of six teams.
  • Otterbein finished in first place with a score of 300.
  • Muskingum's Cameron Henry took home medalist honors with a one-under 71.

On the Course

  • The Muskies were led by Henry with his tournament-best 71. Henry finished tied for first (E) in par three and par four scoring, and he also finished second (-1) in par five scoring. He also led the event with six birdies on the day.
  • Junior Chase Karling finished tied for tenth after firing a 78 for Muskingum. Karling finished with a second place-tying three birdies on the day.
  • Junior Jack Williams also broke 80, carding a 79 on the day for the Muskies. Williams finished tied for fourth in pars with 11.
  • Rounding out Muskingum were seniors Caleb Barnette and Trey Singleton who shot an 80 and an 85, respectively.

  • The Muskies will be back in action on Saturday, March 26 when they participate in the Great Lakes Regional Intercollegiate. The two-day event will be held at The Trophy Club in Lebanon, Ind.
