Men’s Golf wraps-up fall season at Capital Fall Classic

The Muskingum Men's golf team wrapped-up their fall season competing in the Capital Fall Classic on Monday at Blacklick Golf Course. The team tied for fifth in a 12 team-field.

The Basics

  • The event took place at Blacklick Golf Course in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
  • Originally, the event was scheduled for 36 holes, but was shortened to 27 holes due to darkness.
  • Muskingum finished tied for fifth out of 12 teams.
  • As a team, the Muskies carded a 27-hole score of 468 (316-152).
  • Otterbein placed first with a team score of 449 (295-154).

On the Course

  • The Muskies were led by sophomore Cameron Henry who shot a 113 (74-39) to finish tied for seventh in the 76 golfer-field. 
  • Senior Trey Singleton finished the day tied for 18th shooting a 116 (78-38).
  • Junior Chase Karling notched a 118 (79-39) to finish tied for 28th.
  • Sophomore Nicholas Luniewski carded a 122 (85-37) finished tied 50th.
  • Sophomore Ethan Miller shot a 126 (88-38) to finish tied 64th to round out the Muskie effort.
