Muskingum sophomore Brenton Franks shot a career-low round of 73 to finish first at the Baldwin Wallace Spring Invitational on Saturday at Pine Hills Golf Course in Hinckley, Ohio.

  • Franks captured first in the 40-golfer field after shooting a career-low round of 73. He finished the day one-over par.
  • As a team, Muskingum placed third in the five-team field with a score of 307.

  • Senior Josh Blaustein tied for 9th place with a 77.
  • Senior Christian Taylor tied for 11th place with a 78.
  • Senior Gordie German shot a 79 and tied for 16th place.
  • Junior Thomas Green tied for 19th place and notched an 80.
  • Senior Derek Crum tied for 25th place with an 81.
  • Baldwin Wallace and John Carroll tied for first place after shooting a team total of 304.

  • The Muskies next compete at the OAC Spring Tournament at Hudson Country Club on April 26-27.
