Men's Golf captures fourth at Mount Union Invitational

The Muskingum men's golf team captured fourth at the Mount Union Invitational two-day event held at the Tannenhauf Golf Club in Alliance on Saturday-Sunday.

On the Course

  • Muskingum shot a 631 (312-319) and finished nine shots off of team champion John Carroll (303-301) in the six-team field.
  • Senior Jacob Van Leeuwen tied for sixth-place in the 71-player field with a 151 (76-75).
  • Junior Josh Blaustein tied for 21st with a 155 (77-78).
  • Sophomore Thomas Green tied 46th with a 163 (80-83).
  • Junior Brenton Franks tied for 51st with a score of 165 (82-83).
  • Junior Gordie German shot a 166 (79-87) to round out the Muskie scoring.
  • Junior Christian Taylor competed as an individual and shot 173 (87-86).
  • Jimmy Clark from Baldwin Wallace won medalist honors after shooting a 146 (73-73).
