Thro named NCBCA All-American Honorable Mention

Muskingum Men's Bowling freshman Evan Thro was honored for his outstanding season by being named a National Collegiate Bowling Coaches Association All-American Honorable Mention.

This season, Thro finished with a 210.25 average, ranking him sixth among freshman and 19th overall in the nation out of a 2,200-bowler field. Thro now holds the school record for average in a season, breaking the previous record of 198.

His two tournament wins tied for second in the country and ranked him first among freshman nationally.

The Men's Bowling team finished the regular season ranked 17th in the nation across all NCAA divisions and ranked third nationally in the Club Division. The Muskies won the Ohio Bowling Conference Regular-Season Championship for the second time in three years. Muskingum also won four tournaments at tier two events. The seventh-place finish at the USBC Intercollegiate Team Championship Dayton Sectional was the highest in program history.
