The Muskingum men's basketball team earned recognition in consecutive weeks on the D3Hoops.com Top 25, receiving 7 votes.
The Muskies have started the season 6-0 for the first time since the 1968-69 season. The Muskies have taken down Carnegie Mellon (75-74), Transylvania (92-81), Asbury (81-77), La Roche (94-67), Westminster (72-64), and Earlham (82-72).
The Muskies have been averaging 82.7 points per game on 46.3% shooting from the field and 33.6% from three-point range. Muskingum is currently pulling down 38 rebounds a game and dishing out 13.5 assists per game.
Senior Duane Davis is leading the way for the Muskies, averaging 22.8 points and pulling down back-to-back OAC Player of the Week honors to start the season. Junior Owen Emig adds to the scoring, averaging 17.3 points a game.
The Muskies will start OAC play this week on Wednesday, December 3rd at 7:00pm when they will travel to Capital for a matchup against the Comets.
