The Muskingum men's basketball team earned recognition in the first D3hoops.com Top 25 ranking of the season, receiving 10 votes.
The Muskies have started the season 5-0 for the first time since the 2016-17 season. The Muskies have taken down Carnegie Mellon (75-74), Transylvania (92-81), Asbury (81-77), La Roche (94-67), and Westminster (72-64).
The Muskies have been averaging 82.8 points per game on 47.4% shooting from the field and 33.9% from three-point range. Muskingum is currently pulling down 38.8 rebounds a game and dishing out 13.6 assists per game.
Senior Duane Davis is leading the way for the Muskies, averaging 24.8 points and pulling down back-to-back OAC Player of the Week honors to start the season. Junior Owen Emig contributes to the scoring, averaging 18 points a game.
The Muskies are back in action tonight, November 25, at 6:00 pm when they will host Earlham.
