Men's Basketball surges past Westminster with late push

The Muskingum Men's Basketball team hosted Westminster on Saturday afternoon and took down the Titans 72-64. Senior Duane Davis led the way for the Muskies with 31 points.

  • Senior Duane Davis led the Muskies with 31 points, 4 rebounds, 3 steals, a block, and an assist. Davis shot 12-18 from the field. 
  • Junior Owen Emig added to the Muskie offense with 20 points, 7 rebounds, and a steal. Emig shot 7-17 on the afternoon. 
  • Junior Nathan Walker tallied 8 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal.
  • Sophomore Phil Towns had 8 points off the bench, along with 3 rebounds and 3 assists.
  • Junior Brett Devault had 3 points, 11 rebounds, 4 steals, 2 assists, and 2 blocks. 
  • As a team, Muskingum shot 25-55 from the field, 5-18 from three-point range, and 17-24 from the free-throw line. Muskingum logged 39 total rebounds, 9 offensive, 9 assists, 12 steals, and 5 blocks. 
  • DJ Harrell led the way for Westminster with 19 points. 
  • Drew Weir and Trey DePietro each had 11 for the Titans.
