Football announces 2022 fall schedule

Muskingum Football Head Coach Erik Ieuter has announced the 2022 Muskingum fall schedule. All Muskie home games will be played at Sherman Field at the Bullock Health and Wellness Complex.

Last fall, Muskingum finished the year 5-5, their best record since the 2003 season. The Muskies also finished in the top half of the OAC standings for the first time since the 2009 campaign.

The Muskies kick off the new season on Saturday, September 10, when they travel to Ferrum. Game time is set for 1:00 p.m. This will be Muskingum's first matchup against Ferrum in program history.

Muskingum's home opener is scheduled on Saturday, September 17, when the Muskies host Ohio Athletic Conference foe Capital at 7:00 p.m. The matchup versus the Comets will mark Muskingum's 100th Homecoming game, and will also be the first game played at the Bullock Health and Wellness Complex. The complex will feature fully accessible stadium seating, a covered concourse section, an indoor fieldhouse with a turf field and 200-meter track, multi-purpose classrooms, and a state-of-the-art performance and training facility.

The Muskies will conclude their regular season on Saturday, November 12, when they host Marietta for Senior Day and the annual Shriner Game. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.

Overall, Muskingum will play in five home games and five games on the road.
