The Ohio Athletic Conference has named senior quarterback Jordan Garrett Offensive Player of the Week for his record-breaking performance in a 46-27 win at Capital.
Garrett passed for a school record 482 yards and seven touchdowns in Muskingum's season-finale win. He eclipsed the school mark for passing yards in a season (2,323) and touchdown passes (20) as well. Garrett also set the school record for total offense in a game (492) and a season (2,429) this season. Garrett's historic day against Capital also saw him set the school record for passing completions in a game (41), passing attempts in a game (58), passing completions for a season (194), and passing attempts for a season (333).
Garrett, a reigning All-OAC selection from the 2021 spring campaign, has been named OAC Offensive Player of the Week three times this season. Garrett helped guide the Muskies to a 5-5 mark this year, the programs best record since the 2003 season.
