Muskies claim back-to-back ECAC Fortnite National Championships

The ECAC has announced that the Muskingum esports Fortnite team of seniors Kesten Taylor and Tre Boger has claimed their second consecutive Fortnite National Championship.

Taylor and Boger were a dominant force all season, leading the country in victory royales and eliminations. The Muskies capped off their outstanding campaign winning their final two maps of the year, totaling 18 eliminations across both games. The Muskies finished with 479 points on the season in the final standings, while the University of Albany finished in second place with 378 points. The duo also won the National Championship in the spring of 2021.

Muskingum esports has now won three ECAC National Championships, two in Fortnite and one in Madden. The Muskies claimed their first two National Championships during the 2021 spring campaign.

Esports is still recruiting for the spring 2022 season and beyond and is offering esports scholarships to qualified students! For more information on how you can join the Muskie championship program, email Coach Murphy at tmurphy1@muskingum.edu.
