Esports goes perfect on Thursday night, wins CSP Invitational Championship

The Muskingum esports team went a perfect 5-0 on Thursday night and won the CSP Invitational Championship in Overwatch against rival Marietta, 3-2.

Madden 

Sophomore Doug Crawford and sophomore Adam Iller vs. St. Francis University

  • Both Crawford and Iler earned sweeps of St. Francis University in Madden action, 2-0.

Sophomore Doug Atkins vs. Junior Aaron Johnston

  • Johnston defeated his fellow Muskie teammate Atkins in a hard fought battle, 2-0.
  • The competition was a best of three-game series.

Freshman Owen Hively vs. University of Albany

  • Hively notched a big win against Albany in Madden play, 2-0.
  • The competition was a best of three-game series.

Overwatch

  • The Overwatch claimed the CSP Invitational Championship against rival Marietta on Thursday night in a battle, 3-2.
  • The competition was a best of five-game series.

Fortnite

  • The Muskies competed in Week 1 of the ECAC Playoffs.
