Esports wraps up first weekend of competition

The Muskingum esports team finished its first weekend of competition with the Counter-Strike squad falling to Trine on Sunday evening, 16-11.

The Basics

  • The competition was a best of 30 round series.
  • The Muskies ended their first weekend of play going 1-3. 

The Breakdown

  • Counter-Strike competition consisted of five players on each team and completing certain objectives in the map like defeating players and completing team objectives.
  • Trine was able to outlast the Muskies in the end winning 16-11, out of the 30 round series.

What's Next

  • The Muskingum esports team continue with their inaugural season on Saturday, September 28 with all four competitions to be played.
  • At 9:00 a.m. is Rocket League against Aquinas.
  • At 10:00 a.m. is Counter-Strike against Defiance.
  • At 11:00 a.m. is Overwatch against Trine.
  • At 12:00 p.m. is League of Legends against Aquinas.
