The Muskingum baseball team dropped a home non-conference matchup to Kenyon on Wednesday afternoon, 9-5.

How it Happened
- Muskingum got on the scoreboard in the first inning off a wild pitch that scored senior Chayce Lundell.
- In the third inning, junior Allex Santacroce recorded a sacrifice fly which plated junior Devin Ryan.
- Muskingum tallied another run in the fourth inning off an RBI double from sophomore Nate Keiser. Coming around to score on the play was sophomore Brice Shaub.
- In the fifth inning, Muskingum found the scoreboard again off a sacrifice fly from junior Dominic Gorence.
- The Muskies scored their final run of the ballgame in the sixth inning when sophomore Quinten Collins scored from third base off a wild pitch.
Inside the Numbers
- The Muskies were led by senior Trey Yoder who finished 2-for-5 on the day.
- Junior Allex Santacroce finished 1-for-1 with three walks, one RBI, and a run scored for Muskingum.
- Sophomore Nate Keiser finished 1-for-3 with an RBI double, while junior Devin Ryan finished 1-for-4 with a run scored.
- Sophomore Brice Shaub tallied a 1-for-3 line with a run scored, and junior Dominic Gorence finished with an RBI and a walk.
- Senior Jake Norris started on the mound for the Muskies. Norris pitched two innings and gave up two earned runs.
- Freshman Brock Pfister, sophomore Noah Moser, sophomore Liam Carey, sophomore Clark Jennings, and senior Drew Eaches all pitched in relief for Muskingum.
