Baseball sweeps home doubleheader against Wilmington

The Muskingum baseball swept Wilmington in OAC doubleheader action on Saturday afternoon. The Muskies took Game 1, 12-6, and won in tight battle in Game 2, 16-10.

  • Wilmington started the scoring early with a 3-0 lead in the first two innings.
  • Muskingum got on the board with a Carson sacrifice fly in the third inning.
  • The Muskies used a big 7-0 surge through the fifth and seventh innings to take the lead, 9-4.
  • The Quakers answered with a 6-0 run of their own in the eighth to regain the lead, 10-9.
  • Muskingum came back with another 7-0 surge to retake the lead 16-10 and secure the victory.
