The Muskingum baseball team celebrated Senior Day at 19th-ranked Denison on Saturday in an emotional final day of the shortened season. The Big Red won the five-inning weather impacted game, 8-1. Game two of the scheduled twinbill was cancelled due to weather.

• Before the start of the game, Muskingum baseball seniors Holden Martin, Bryce Husted, Josh Bigrigg, and Mark Rest were recognized. The contest marked the final baseball outing of the year following the Ohio Athletic Conference announcement on Thursday by the Presidents Council to cancel the 2020 spring sports seasons effective March 16 to protect the health and safety of all of our students and communities.

• Martin started on the mound for the Muskies and pitched the first two innings and recorded three strikeouts. 
• Bigrigg tossed two relief innings and held the Big Red to one hit and registered one strikeout.
• Rest and Husted combined to pitch the final inning
• Muskie sophomore infielder Chayce Lundell belted an RBI double to give the Muskies an early 1-0 edge in the top of the first.
• Muskie sophomore outfielder Brett Carson also added a double.
• Freshman infielder Garrett Hardy notched a single for the Muskies.
• Muskingum ended the game notching three hits and committed no errors.
• Brian McAuliffe led Denison with two RBIs hitting a double at the plate.
• Max Dehon earned the win on the mound after allowing three hits and one earned run in two innings of work.
• Trey Holland pitched the last three innings and gained the save for Denison.
• Denison ended the game with eight runs on seven hits and committed one error on the day.
