Coach Josh Boyer '00 headed to Super Bowl LIII

New England Patriots cornerbacks coach and Muskingum University alumnus Josh Boyer '00, will look to help lead his team to another Super Bowl Championship when the Patriots will play the Los Angeles Rams in Atlanta, Georgia on Sunday, February 3.

Boyer, who is in his seventh season as the Patriots' cornerbacks coach, will make his sixth Super Bowl appearance since joining the New England staff. He started working for the Patriots in 2006 as a coaching assistant for three years and then moved to coaching the defensive backs. Boyer has won two Super Bowl championships with the Patriots.

While Boyer was at Muskingum, he as was a two-time Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree in 1998 and 1999, while also earning All-Ohio Athletic Conference accolades as a defensive back for the Muskies football team in 1999. He graduated from Muskingum in 2000 with a degree in physical education and health.
