Graduate senior Macy McAdams tallied a time of 22:29.6 to claim the individual title at the OAC Cross Country Championships held at Moorehead Farm on Saturday.
The Course
- Muskingum hosted the event at Moorehead Farm in New Concord, Ohio.
- The event was a 6K race.
- The Muskies tallied a total of 179 points to finish seventh out of the 10-team field.
- John Carroll claimed the team title with a score of 36.
How it Happened
- Graduate senior Macy McAdams registered a time of 22:29.6 to take top spot in the race out of the 113-runner field. McAdams becomes the first Muskie runner to win the OAC crown since Harriett Scheid in 1991.
- Freshman Rosemary Stephens tallied a time of 26:22.8 to finish in 50th, while freshman Rylee Bollenbacher recorded a pace of 27:08.9 to finish 69th.
- Freshman Kyra Kiessling notched a time of 28:08.1 for 78th place, while freshman Alyssa Heinrichs finished with a 28:15.8 for 80th place.
- Finishing right behind Heinrichs was freshman Taylor Metz with a time of 28:17.3 for 81st, while freshman Abigail Derry tallied a 29:19.8 for 92nd.
- Rounding out the Muskie finishers was freshman Jillian Ayres with a time of 30:26.1 for 99th.

- The Muskies will be back in action on Friday, November 11, when they participate in the NCAA Regional Championships. The two-day event will take place in Holland, Mich. hosted by Hope College.
