The Muskingum women's cross country team opened the season with a strong showing en route to capturing first at the Muskingum Invitational on Friday.
The Course
- The invitational was held on Muskingum's scenic course.
- The event was a 4K race
How It Happened
- Freshman Rachel Timberlake finished first in the 25-runner field with a time of 15:47.21.
- Freshman Macy McAdams finished second with a time of 16:15.27.
- Junior Keely Ames placed third with a time of 17:10.32.
- Sophomore Lauren Hunt took fourth with a time of 17:13.95 to give the Muskies the top four spots.
- Junior Reilly Walsh finished sixth with a time of 17:51.40.
- Sophomore Heidi Sines grabbed eighth with a time of 18:16.01 to give the Muskies six of the 10 finishers.
- The Muskies finished with a total time of 1:24:18.15.
- Bethany and Wilmington also competed at the event.
