Women's Cross Country finishes 9th at the St. Vincent Invitational

The Muskingum women's cross country team placed 9th in the 15-team field at the St. Vincent Invitational on Saturday.

The Course

  • The Invitational was held at St. Vincent.
  • Each runner completed a 6k course.

How It Happened

  • Senior Julie Fobes led the Muskies with a 14th place finish of the 157-runner field in a time of 24:47. The time is a season-best for Fobes.
  • Freshman Lauren Hunt finished 22nd in a time of 25:23.
  • Senior Heidi Snipes claimed a 51st place finish in a time of 26:47, followed by senior Hannah Gregory in 67th place with a time of 27:41.
  • Sophomore Keely Ames finished 71st in a time of 28:00.
  • Rounding out the field for the Muskies were sophomore Reilly Walsh and senior Josie Baum in 73rd and 78th place, respectively.
  • Muskingum ended the race with 225 points and a total time of 2:12:38.
  • Allegheny won the team title with 31 points and a total time of 1:59:53.
