Women's Cross Country finishes sixth at Bethany Invitational

The Muskingum women's cross country team finished sixth of 15 teams at the Bethany Invitational Saturday afternoon.

The Course

  • Each runner completed a distance of 6k.
  • The event was held at Bethany College.

How It Happened

  • Senior Julie Fobes led the Muskies across the finish line with a 14th place finish (out of 156) with a time of 25:05.
  • Freshman Lauren Hunt finished 29th with a time of 25:58.
  • Senior Heidi Snipes finished the 6k course in 26:54, finishing 43rd overall.
  • Senior Hannah Gregory finished 50th with a time of 27:53.
  • Freshman Peyton Morrow logged a time of 28:08, finishing 52nd.
  • Senior Josie Baum recorded a time of 28:54, finishing 58th.
  • Sophomore Reilly Walsh rounded out the field for the Muskies finishing with a time of 29:10.
  • Muskingum finished with a total time of 2:13:58.
  • Oberlin won the meet with 29 points.
