Fatheree named Volleyball Player of the Week

The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum junior outside hitter Brooke Fatheree was named the OAC Volleyball Player of the Week for her outstanding performance at the Case Western Reserve Invitational last weekend. Fatheree helped guide the Muskies to a 3-0 record on the week and their seventh straight victory of the season.

The Muskies, under the guidance of Fatheree, defeated both Washington and Jefferson and Thiel in three straight-sets and conquered the Case Western Reserve Spartans in five sets. Fatheree guided the Muskies with 34 kills on 79 total attempts, registering a blistering .431 hitting percentage. She also tallied 33 digs and 38 points on the week.

This season, Fatheree has recorded a team-high 91 kills and 108 digs.

Muskingum next participates in the Carnegie Mellon Invite from Friday, September 13 to Saturday, September 14. The Muskies battle Scranton (2:00 p.m.) and Hope (6:00 p.m.) on Friday and go head-to-head with Susquehanna (3:00 p.m.) and Carnegie Mellon (5:00 p.m.) on Saturday.
