• As a team Muskingum logged 51 kills, 47 assists, and 72 digs.
• In the first set, the Muskies battled hard but the Tigers took an early lead of 14-7. The fight continued on and Muskingum trimmed it's deficit, but DePauw was able to win the set with a score of 25-16.
• In set two, the Muskies and Tigers fought neck in neck until DePauw secured a 20-15 lead over the Muskies. A 5-3 run locked in the 25-18 victory for the Tigers.
• The battle continued into the third set where neither team took more than a two-point advantage early on. The Muskies answered back with a 6-3 surge to capture a 25-23 victory over the Tigers.
• DePauw quickly took control of the fourth set with a lead of 17-10. Muskingum fought hard to close the gap, but the Tigers tallied a 8-5 run securing the set with a final score of 25-15.
• The Muskingum attack was led by Guist who registered 14 kills.
• Fatheree logged 12 kills and added eight digs.
• Dickson led the Muskies with a team-best 37 assists.
• Youngs registered a team-high 25 digs, while sophomore Maddie Sikorski logged 16. 

Saturday Action

Rose Hulman (3-1)

• As a team Muskingum recorded 59 kills, 55 assists, and 71 digs. 
• In the first set, the Muskies took an early lead of 15-8 over the Elephants and later expanded the gap to 19-9. Rose Hulman fought hard to close the gap, but the Muskies were able to secure the final point to take the set.
• In the second set, the Muskies and Elephants fought closely but neither team took more than a three-point advantage early on. After registering back to back points, the Muskies were able to advance past the Elephants with a score of 23-20. A kill by Fatheree secured the 25-22 victory. 
• In the third set, the tempo was noticeably different and the Elephants took control with a score of 17-12. A 8-4 run locked in the 25-16 victory for the Elephants. 
• In the fourth and final set, the Muskies and Elephants fought neck and neck until Muskingum was able to take the lead with a score of 21-18. A four-point surge locked in the 25-21 victory for the Muskies. 
• Guist led Muskingum with a team-best 16 kills and a hitting percentage of .341. 
• Fatheree added 12 kills and 16 digs. 
• Freshman Carson Miller registered 15 kills on 26 attempts with a hitting percentage of .577.
• The offense was controlled by Dickson who logged 51 assists. 
• The defense was secured by Cottle who registered 25 digs.

Translyvania (3-0)

• As a team Muskingum registered 42 kills, 40 assists, and 64 digs. 
• In set one, Muskingum came out with intesity and took an early lead of 19-10. The Pioneers chipped away at the differential, but the Muskies registered a 6-5 run to secure the victory. 
• In set two, the Muskies dominated the court and took the lead with a score of 20-11. The Pioneers registered back to back points to trim the defecit, but the Muskies were able to secure the final two-points to take the set. 
• In set three, the Muskies continued to control the play and secured a 20-15 advantage over the Pioneers. A 5-3 run locked in the 25-18 victory for the Muskies. The victory marked Muskingum's sixth straight set victory of the 2018-19 season.
• The fight was led by Fatheree who registered 12 kills and 11 digs. 
• Miller and Guist both added 8 kills. 
• Dickson recorded a team-best 30 assists. 
• The backline was anchored by Youngs who registered 23 digs and Cottle who logged 17 digs.
