Volleyball drops five-set thriller at Denison

The Muskingum volleyball team dropped a five-set thriller at Denison (25-23, 25-21,16-25, 27-29, 8-15) on Wednesday evening at the Livingston Gymnasium.

  • Denison rallied from two sets down to claim the 3-2 victory.
  • The Muskies were led in the contest by senior Katie Hunt with a team-high 12 kills.
  • Juniors Mackenzie O'Shea and Courtney Nestoff both finished with 10 kills each.
  • Freshman Rhieannae Cory guided the attack for Muskingum recording 22 assists.
  • On the defensive side of the ball, junior Deidre Prince led the way with a game-high 34 digs.
  • As a team, Muskingum finished with 56 kills and 51 assists.
  • The Big Red were led by Leah Reinfranck and Rachele Lock with 16 kills each.
  • Kaileigh Poe finished with a game-high 46 assists.
