Women’s Track & Field takes fourth place at the Amy Adams Memorial Invitational; Tristen Wiles sets new school record

Junior Tristen Wiles set a new school record in the javelin, while the Muskingum women's track and field team placed fourth at the Amy Adams Memorial Invitational on Saturday at the Johnson Family Track.

The Basics

  • Muskingum scored 57.83 points to finish fourth in the 14-team field.
  • Case Western won the event with 156 points.

On the Track

  • Freshman Macy McAdams finished first in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 18:22.68.
  • The team of sophomore Jordan Prall, freshman Trustyn Holland-Kerkes, freshman Mary Double, and freshman Louisa Smith captured second place in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 56.10.
  • Freshman Rachel Timberlake claimed third place in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 18:57.81.
  • Sophomore Emily Ellyson placed fifth, while Smith took sixth in the 100-meter hurdles with times of 17.58 and 17.65, respectively.

In the Field 

  • Junior Tristen Wiles set a new school record and finished first in the javelin with a pitch of 38.51 meters. She broke her own school record that she set in 2017.
  • Ellyson tied for second in the high jump with a height of 1.57 meters, while Kimberly Taylor took sixth place (1.47 meters).
  • Senior Hannah Doore tied for third in the pole vault clearing a height of 2.75 meters.
  • Freshman Emily Zumack took sixth in the javelin with a pitch of 29.31 meters.
