The Muskingum men's and women's outdoor track and field team concluded their season at the North Central Last Chance Meet.
On the Men's side
- Junior Jeffrey Burkholder led the Muskies finishing first in the shot put with a pitch of 15.45 meters.
- In the javelin, junior Nick Despot claimed a fourth place finish with a throw of 50.88 meters.
On the Women's side
- Senior Tristen Wiles finished second in the javelin with a toss 35.69 meters.
Hillsdale Last Chance Meet
On the Men's side
- Junior Nick Despot finished second in the javelin with a distance of 51.27 meters.
- In the high jump, sophomore Blake Weidner finished fourth with a height of 1.93 meters.
On the Women's side
- Senior Tristen Wiles led the Muskies finishing second in the javelin with a new school record toss of 38.50 meters, breaking her previous record of 36.97 meters.
- Senior Julie Fobes claimed a fifth place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a school record time of 11:19.18, breaking the previous record of 11:38.23.
- Freshman Emily Ellyson finished fifth in the heptathlon with 3,322 points.
- The freshman claimed a first-place finish in the high jump with a height of 1.61 meters and finished third in the javelin with a throw of 28.74 meters.
Toledo Last Chance Meet
On the Men's side
- Junior Jeffrey Burkholder led the Muskies finishing first in the shot put with a toss of 14.25 meters.
- In the javelin throw, junior Nick Despot also claimed a first place finish with a toss of 45.71 meters.
- Senior Andre Buffington took sixth in the hammer throw with a toss of 41.82 meters.
On the Women's side
- Senior Tristen Wiles garnered a third-place finish in the javelin with a toss of 31.05 meters.
- In the 1,500-meter run, senior Julie Fobes finished fifth with a time of 4:53.68.
The meet concluded the 2016-17 season.
