Seniors Julie Fobes and Tristen Wiles garnered All-OAC honors to lead women's track and field at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships held at McConagha Stadium and the Johnson Family Track.
The Basics
- Location: New Concord, Ohio - McConagha Stadium
- Results: Muskingum finished ninth in the 10-team field with 22 points.
On the Track
- Senior Julie Fobes led the Muskies garnering All-OAC honors in the 5,000-meter run with a school record time of 18:00.33, breaking the previous record of 18:21.23 set in 1991.
- Fobes also earned All-OAC honors in the 10,000-meter run finishing second with a time of 39:59.75.
- Freshman Heidi Snipes, sophomore Reilly Walsh, freshman Lauren Hunt and freshman Leah Robertson finished eighth in the 4x800-meter relay with a time of 10:25.51.
In the Field
- Senior Tristen Wiles garnered All-OAC honors in the javelin finishing third with a school record throw of 36.97 meters.
- Freshman Emily Ellyson finished eighth in the high jump with a leap of 1.52 meters.
