Women's Outdoor Track & Field takes fifth at the Amy Adams Memorial Meet

The Muskingum women's track and field team placed fifth at the Amy Adams Memorial Invitational on Saturday at the Johnson Family Track in McConagha Stadium.

The Basics

  • Muskingum scored 48 points to finish fifth in the eight-team field.
  • Walsh won the event with 164 points.
  • The event was held at the Johnson Family Track in McConagha Stadium.

On the Track

  • Senior Julie Fobes led the Muskies capturing a second place finish in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:49.08. Fobes also finished third in the 800-meter run in a time of 2:25.14.
  • Sophomore Hailey Ferguson finished eighth in the 100-meter dash in a time of 16.65.

In the Field 

  • Freshman Emily Ellyson placed second in the high jump with a leap of 1.57 meters.
  • In the javelin throw, sophomore Tristen Wiles finished third with a pitch of 33.0 meters, while junior Abby Weiland finished fourth with a toss of 28.41 meters.
  • Sophomore Reannah Martin claimed a fourth place finish in the pole vault with a height of 2.90 meters.
  • Weiland also finished fifth in the pole vault with a leap of 2.75 meters.
  • In the long jump, sophomore Kimberly Taylor finished fifth with a jump of 4.76 meters and freshman Jordan Prall claimed an eighth place finish with a leap of 4.49 meters.
