The Muskingum women's track and field team placed fifth at the Amy Adams Memorial Invitational on Saturday at the Johnson Family Track in McConagha Stadium.
The Basics
- Muskingum scored 48 points to finish fifth in the eight-team field.
- Walsh won the event with 164 points.
- The event was held at the Johnson Family Track in McConagha Stadium.
On the Track
- Senior Julie Fobes led the Muskies capturing a second place finish in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:49.08. Fobes also finished third in the 800-meter run in a time of 2:25.14.
- Sophomore Hailey Ferguson finished eighth in the 100-meter dash in a time of 16.65.
In the Field
- Freshman Emily Ellyson placed second in the high jump with a leap of 1.57 meters.
- In the javelin throw, sophomore Tristen Wiles finished third with a pitch of 33.0 meters, while junior Abby Weiland finished fourth with a toss of 28.41 meters.
- Sophomore Reannah Martin claimed a fourth place finish in the pole vault with a height of 2.90 meters.
- Weiland also finished fifth in the pole vault with a leap of 2.75 meters.
- In the long jump, sophomore Kimberly Taylor finished fifth with a jump of 4.76 meters and freshman Jordan Prall claimed an eighth place finish with a leap of 4.49 meters.
