Ashley Marlatt was named head coach of the Muskingum University Track & Field programs during the summer of 2017.

Prior to Muskingum, Marlatt served as an assistant coach at Denison University. During her tenure with the Big Red, Marlatt was named the 2015 United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Women's Indoor Assistant Coach of the Year. Under her guidance, she has coached a combined 16 indoor and outdoor national qualifiers and had nine student-athletes earn All-American honors, with one winning the national championship.

Prior to Denison, Marlatt served as the 2011 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field intern for the championship meet hosted by her alma mater Ohio Wesleyan University. Her duties included helping with meet set-up and management, and organizing meet workers. Marlatt also completed, organized, and filed all purchase orders.

Prior to her NCAA internship, she earned her M.A.E. at Muskingum in 2010. While serving as an assistant coach for the Muskies, Marlatt coached a four-time national qualifier in the triple jump and assisted in all operations of the track & field and cross country programs. She also identified and recruited student-athletes.

Marlatt earned her B.A. in physical education from Ohio Wesleyan in 2008. The product of Lancaster High School was a five-time national qualifier and earned All-American honors in the Heptathlon in 2007. She was a 31-time All-North Coast Athletic Conference selection, a 13-time conference champion, and was named NCAC Indoor Sprint/Hurdle MVP in 2005 and 2006.
