The Muskingum University women's indoor track & field team competed in the Marietta First Glimpse Meet on Saturday.
The Basics
- Location: Marietta, Ohio – Dyson Baudo Recreation Center
Notables
- The meet marked the 2019-20 season opener for the Muskies.
- The Muskies finished 7th in the nine-team field.
- Muskingum notched a total of 39 points.
- Wheeling University secured first with 108 points.
- Sophomore Mikayla Deiotte and sophomore Spencer Neville both competed in the pentathlon. Neville secured sixth with 2,149 points, while Deoitte locked in seventh with 2,140 points.
- Neville notched fourth in high jump (1.44 meters), sixth in 55-meter hurdles (10.60), sixth in long jump (4.44 meters), seventh in the 800-meter dash (2:56.05), and eighth in shot put (6.53 meters).
- Deoitte locked in fifth in shot put (8.55 meters), sixth in high jump (1.44 meters), sixth in the 800-meter dash (2:54.75), seventh in 55-meter hurdles (10.93), and eighth in long jump (4.03 meters).
On the Track
- Freshman Andrea Siders locked in seventh with a 400-meter dash time of 1:10.67.
- Freshman Ragan Savage took sixth in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 10.30.
- Sophomore Macey Mills notched seventh in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 10.36, while senior Emily Ellyson secured eighth with a time of 10.54.
In the Field
- Ellyson also finished second in high jump with a mark of 1.52 meters.
- Junior Ehlana Lingenfelter secured fifth in pole vault with a height of 2.35 meters.
- Freshman Kiri Williams notched seventh with a pole vault mark of 2.05 meters.
- Junior Mary Double locked in third in long jump with a leap of 4.85 meters.
- Savage also notched a long jump distance of 4.66 meters, finishing sixth.
- Freshman Jacelyn Wigal secured sixth in shot put with a toss of 10.59 meters.
