Taylor breaks pentathlon record at ONU Last Chance Meet

Senior Kimberly Taylor guided the Muskies at the Ohio Northern Last Chance Meet finishing fourth overall in the women's pentathlon with a total of 2,694 points. With this performance, Taylor broke the women's pentathlon record previously held by junior Emily Ellyson.

  • This concludes the 2018-19 season for the Muskingum women's indoor track and field team.

  • Taylor finished third in high jump with an impressive mark of 1.59 meters. She notched fourth in shot put (7.97 meters) and long jump (4.94 meters). Taylor secured sixth in 60-meter hurdles (10.75) and seventh in the 800-meter run (2:51.13).
  • Freshman Mikayla Deiotte locked in seventh in the women's pentathlon. She logged a 800-meter run time of 2:45.44, finishing fourth. Deiotte notched seventh in long jump (3.49 meters), shot put (7.31 meters), and high jump (1.35 meters). She rounded out her efforts finishing eighth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 12.26.
