Women’s Indoor Track & Field competes at Raider Tune-Up

The Muskingum women's track and field team competed at the Raider Tune-Up on Saturday afternoon on the campus of Mount Union University.

The Basics

  • Location: Alliance, Ohio - Peterson Fieldhouse

On the Track

  • Freshman Rachel Timberlake led the Muskies with a second place finish in the 1,000-meter run with a time of 3:13.36.
  • Freshman Mary Double finished eighth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:05.19, while also taking eighth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.77.

In the Field

  • Sophomore Emily Ellyson finished third, while junior Kimberly Taylor placed fourth in the high jump with heights of 1.51 meters and 1.51 meters, respectively.
  • Freshman Louisa Smith also claimed eighth place in the high jump with a height of 1.46 meters.
  • Double placed sixth in the long jump with a leap of 4.74 meters.
