Fobes and Martin lead Women's Indoor Track & Field at the Dr. William Taraschke Classic

The Muskingum women's indoor track and field team finished fourth at the Dr. William Taraschke Classic at Baldwin Wallace on Friday, where senior Julie Fobes and sophomore Reannah Martin each grabbed first-place finishes.

What Happened

  • Senior Julie Fobes claimed a first-place finish in the one-mile with a time of 5:21.37.
  • Sophomore Reannah Martin took first in the pole vault clearing a height of 2.90 meters.
  • The 4x200 meter relay team of Martin, freshman Justine Skatzes, freshman Jordan Prall and freshman Alei Yost finished second with a time of 2:04.64.
  • Sophomore Kimberly Taylor claimed a second-place finish in the the high jump with a leap of 1.55 meters, while freshman Emily Ellyson took third. 
  • Ellyson also claimed a third-place finish in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 9.72. Junior Hannah Doore finished fourth in the event with a time of 9.79.
  • Sophomore Abby Weiland claimed a fourth-place finish in the pole vault with a height of 2.45 meters.
  • In the 1,000-meter run, junior Maddie Moss finished sixth with a time of 3:39.33.
  • Sophomore Reilly Walsh notched a sixth-place finish in the one-mile with a time of 6:00.44.
  • Sophomore Keely Ames placed sixth in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 13:27.12.
