The Muskingum freshman Hailey Ferguson notched a first-place spot in the 400-meter dash to lead the Muskies to a sixth-place finish at the Bob Shannon Invitational at Denison on Saturday.
The Basics
- Location: Granville, Ohio – Denison University – Mitchell Center
- Results: Muskingum placed sixth in the 10-team field with 60 points. Baldwin Wallace won the event with 134.50 points.
On The Track
- Freshman Hailey Ferguson took first place in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:02.37 and fourth place in the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.69.
- Junior Julie Fobes grabbed a second-place finish in the 3000-meter run with a time of 10:53.76.
- Freshman Heidi Snipes placed eighth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:34.05.
- The 4x200-meter team finished third with a time of 1:55.83.
- The 4x400-meter team took sixth with a time of 4:35.00.
In The Field
- Freshman Kimberly Taylor placed second in high jump with a mark of 1.50 meters.
- Freshman Michelle Gaggiano took fourth in high jump with a mark of 1.45 meters.
- Freshman Emily Hull took fifth in long jump with a mark of 4.70 meters.
- Senior Alison Gillilan placed seventh in weight throw with a mark of 13.91 meters.
