The Muskingum women's track & field team had a strong third-place finish at the Baldwin Wallace Invitational on Friday night.
The Basics
- Location: Berea, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace – Harrison Dillard Center
- Results: Muskingum scored 77 points to finish third in the eight-team field. Baldwin Wallace won the event with 175 points.
The Meet
- Freshman Hailey Ferguson led the Muskies with a first-place finish in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:02.20.
- Freshman Heidi Snipes placed second in the 500-meter run with a with a time of 1:32.31.
- Senior Denise Labis finished second in the 5000-meter run with a time of 24:03.71.
- Junior Josie Baum took fourth in the mile run with a time of 5:50.13.
- Freshman Keely Ames placed fourth in the 1000-meter run with a time of 4:05.84.
- Freshman Reilly Walsh captured fourth in the 3000-meter run with a time of 11:52.80.
- The 4x400 relay squad finished second with a time of 4:32.28.
- The 4x200 relay team took third with a time if 1:56.99.
