The Muskingum women's indoor track and field team opened its season at the Mount Union Toy Drive Invitational on Saturday, December 5, where freshman Hailey Ferguson broke the school record in the 60-meter dash.

What Happened

• Freshman Michelle Gaggiano led the Muskies with a fourth-place finish in the high jump with a mark of 1.50 meters.
• Ferguson finished 11th in the 60-meter dash prelims, breaking a school record with a time of 8.33. 
• Ferguson also had a fifth-place finish in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:02.25 and a sixth-place finish in the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.79.
• Sophomore Abby Weiland finished eighth in pole vault with a mark of 2.65 meters.
