Women's Tennis honored with four ITA Scholar-Athletes and All-Academic Team Award

The Muskingum women's tennis team was honored with the ITA All-Academic Team Award, and senior Peyton Morrow, junior Mackenzie Simmons, junior Kayla Hall, and sophomore Sara Welsh were all named ITA Scholar-Athletes.

Morrow, an early childhood education - special education major, is from Zanesville, Ohio. Simmons, an interdisciplinary major, is from Cambridge, Ohio. Hall, an early childhood education - special education major, is from Mineral City, Ohio. Welsh, an interdisciplinary major, is from Canal Winchester, Ohio.

The ITA All-Academic Team Award is open to any ITA program that has a cumulative team grade point average of 3.20 or above (on a 4.00 scale). In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status a player must meet the following criteria: 1.) be a varsity letterwinner, 2.) have a grade point average of at least 3.50 for the current academic year, and 3.) have been enrolled at their present school for at least 2 semesters.
