The Muskingum women's tennis team lost its Ohio Athletic Conference opener at Otterbein on Saturday afternoon, 9-0.
The Cardinals took control of the match by sweeping doubles play.
Otterbein maintained the momentum in singles action en route to winning all six matches. Freshman Brittany Besancon led the Muskies at second singles. She dropped a 6-3, 6-1 tilt against Makayla Sutter,
Muskingum next plays at Ohio Christian on Saturday, April 1. Match time is slated for 11:00 a.m.
