Before arriving in New Concord, Gaiffas was a college athlete with an impressive career at the University of Louisiana Monroe in 2018. In 2019, Gaiffas joined Tyler Junior College and was a member of the NJCAA D-1 National Championship team. Gaiffas then wrapped up her career at the University of Mount Olive, where she obtained a bachelor's degree in business management.  

Gaiffas also has experience in playing international soccer for Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and was a two-time winner of the French National Championship.
