The Muskingum women's soccer team slipped in their Ohio Athletic Conference opening match against Heidelberg, on Saturday afternoon, 3-0. The game marked both teams' first OAC contest.

How It Happened
- Heidelberg jumped out to a, 1-0 lead at the 12:58 mark off a Caitlyn Cross strike.
- Caitlyn Cross struck again for the Student Princes this time at the 37:07 mark to make it 2-0 Heidelberg at the break.
- Heidelberg used a second-half goal to secure a 3-0 home victory.
Inside the Numbers
- Sophomore Morgan Meisel, sophomore Madison Yenke, and freshman Marysa Starcher led the Muskie attack with three shots apiece.
- Senior Bekah Knight, senior Skyllar Strong, and freshman Hannah Ritchie, rounded out the Muskie offensive effort with one shot each.
- Junior Kelly Buck snagged eight saves in 90 minutes of work for the Muskies.
- Caitlin Cross led the Student Prince offense with two goals.
- Heidelberg goalkeeper Meredith Bruce secured eight saves in 90 minutes of work.
