Women's Soccer suffers a loss in OAC opener

The Muskingum women's soccer team suffered a loss to John Carroll on Saturday, 4-0. The game marked both teams' first OAC contest.

How It Happened

  • The Blue Streaks used a four-goal surge in the first half to grab the momentum. Sydney Scello scored in the 21st minute, while Brittany Dufalla tallied a goal in the 24th minute. Scello managed another score in the 31st minute, and Bailey Fischer completed the scoring in the 33rd minute.
  • John Carroll ended the contest with a 33-8 edge in shots.
  • Muskingum was paced by the freshmen tandem of Britney Golden and Lindsay Dunlap with two shots each.
  • Sophomore keeper Katie Bodenmiller played 69 minutes in frame and made eight saves while allowing four goals.
  • Danielle Delgiudice played the entire game between the pipes for the Blue Streaks and made three saves.
  • Jaclyn Audino and Bailey Fischer led John Carroll, logging six shots each.
