The Muskingum women's soccer team sat at a 0-0 deadlock with Mount Union at the half, but three second-half goals by the Purple Raiders pushed them past the Muskies on Wednesday afternoon.

How It Happened 

• Muskingum played aggressively in the first half as they had some great shot opportunities, but couldn't connect, leaving the half at a 0-0 deadlock.
• Mount Union struck 44 seconds into the second half to collect the first goal of the contest.
• The Purple Raiders went on to post two more goals at the 64th and 68-minute marker to record their ninth win of the season.
• The Muskies' tallied 13 shots, with seven of those shots on goal, and added two corner kicks.
• Mary Double took six shots total, while Ali Gilt took four.
• Goalkeeper Katie Bodenmiller grabbed 13 saves and played 90 minutes between the pipes.
• Paige Freel notched seven saves and saw 90 minutes of action in the frame for Mount Union.
