Bishop, Double and Gilt lead women's soccer past La Roche

Muskingum senior Miranda Bishop and the freshmen tandem of Mary Double and Ali Gilt each scored a goal to lead the Muskies past La Roche on Wednesday afternoon, 3-1.

  • Muskingum opened the scoring in the 24th minute on Bishop's 1v1 to goal. The strike was her second of the year.
  • Double gave the Muskies a 2-0 lead in the 32nd minute on her first career goal. She registered three shots on the night.
  • Gilt completed the Muskie scoring in the 53rd minute with her first career goal. She ended the outing with a team-high four shots.
  • Kerri Phillips scored the lone Red Hawk goal in the 54th minute.
  • Muskingum ended the contest with 14 shots and four corner kicks. 
  • Sophomore Jasmine Love played all 90 minutes in frame and made seven saves and allowed one goal.
  • Jessica Welka and Hanna Csoman each played 45 minutes in goal for La Roche.
